Great. Now we have to deal with
terrorist groups being able too buy
passports from these shit hole countries
This short term solution to their money problems will result in them losing their tourism. Once they start chopping heads off in Jamaica that'll be the end of Sandal's resort along with the other joints down there.
Might be a bit hard there... considering all their beaches tend to be black...
Eh. I have a Taiwanese passport. I just need to spend 6 months there and I'll be a full citizen. Dual US/Taiwanese citizenship could come in handy some day.
Citizenship means jack shit now. Citizenship is about as variable as a frequent shopper card.
America should do the same -- not because it would help the economy, but just to dilute the citizenship market for amusement's sake.
Nobody would sign up. Unlike every other civilized nation, we charge our citizens federal taxes even if they don't love here or earn that money here.
I have a Canadian, Swiss and UK citizenship... the Swiss and a the UK one make traveling in Europe a lot easier.
With out me having to Google it... How do you go about doing that?
I have USA and Ireland....was asked if I would want one to Curacao on a Job interview...I said I don't think so..I didn't get the job for the following reason: I had a criminal background....I was once arrested for not paying a traffic ticket.......
stevethrower..is a Mulatta Mongrel class of person..one parent is Swiss, the other UK, and he was born or raised in Canada....Fella lives in Maine with his chick, a Gov't agent....and is partial dot head....I know I screwed up there somewhere.....but whatever...
Rock on Stevethrower!!!!!!!
Norman's Cay 2.0 here we come!
I was born in England... so have a UK citizenship. My Mother is Swiss so I can have Swiss citizenship and moved to Canada when I was three and got a naturalized Canadian citizenship. Note I only have a current Canadian passport... the other ones expired a few years ago.
Now have to come up with the $800 is to apply for US citizenship...
On a side note when my chick travels for work she takes her regular passport as well as a diplomatic one... as sometimes hotels want to hold onto your passport. And a burgundy US diplomatic passport is kinda a red flag for kidnappers etc... even told her to take her passport card thing that we use when crossing the US/Canadian border as a double back up... I also give her the various locations of the US/Canadian/UK consulates etc... with the wacky phone numbers.
Pretty close... see above... oh my Dad was born in India... and his family got kicked out in 1947 due to ummm shenanigans... he has UK not Indian citizenship well that and Canadian.
