The real Jimmy Tide.
That is a fucking big wave. I thought "Jaws" off of Maui produced a wave around 100 feet, but I could be wrong.
Biggest recorded waves that have been ridden are 85 feet in Hawaii
as far as I can find. Still a big ass wave no matter how tall.
I thought I saw a guy ride a 105 ft wave some time ago...but I might be wrong...I miss my Hobie.....
Those guys are fags.
The biggest has to be Bell's beach, you see everything moves in cycles. So twice a century the ocean let's us know just how small we really are. A storm comes out of Antarctica, tearing up the Pacific and it sends a huge swell north 500 miles. And when it hits Bells Beach it'll turn into the biggest surf this planet has ever seen. And l will be there.
you go Bodhi!

i've seem some videos online of surfers that get pulled up to the waves with jet skis. any good place online to watch videos like that?
Fuck surfing. Is a really cool sport, but im not really a big fan of a sport where you can be eaten.

"Back off WARCHILD!"
i clicked the link, which actually helped me remember. however, i was looking for some videos of the hardcore surfing.
Getting towed in is the only way to surf these monster waves.
Laird Hamilton getting towed in in Tahiti.
Nice wipe out at Jaws in Maui.
Mitch Yost is back in the game!
I surfed and body surfed hurricane waves that dropped 4 -6 stories..when I was a guard at the Jersey shore getting drilled by those things hurt...I cannot even fathom going out into that.
I got my eye on you.
I don't know Butchie, instead!
haven't been surfing long, but i love it. back in san diego i went out when i could. here in southern spain, the waves suck. best you can get is a 5-10 second run before you're in ankle deep water. the waves break ridiculously close to shore and the waves MIGHT get about 3-4'' on a good day.
