This is the $250 OPMOD Battle Mug, a 24-ounce beer receptacle milled out of a solid 13.5-lb block of aluminum that comes equipped with military-spec rails so you can attach all kinds of scopes and laser sights. "Yeah but why?" WHY?! To make sure you don't miss your mouth, dummy!

Thanks to Brian, who drinks his morning coffee out of a live grenade so people don't bother him until after he's gotten his fix.

I like it, but not at $250. If someone got them made with Chinese slave labor they would be $15 with a healthy profit. Don't need billet aluminum for an occasional gag piece.

They should put a Picatinny rail attachment device on one side so you could attach it to your rifle accessory rail and have three more attachment points for gizmos.

Yeah, I'd totally in the $50 range and slap some stupid UTG accessories on it so my friends could make fun of me on camp trips, but $250 is ridiculous.

:fu:

Stupid shit like this is why gun people get portrayed as idiots.

Unfortunately, many self-professed "gun people" are exactly that, and get most of their knowledge from Call of Duty.

Actually, no. It's high impact aluminum. Shit could stop a bullet.
Meh. Still not worth it. I would settle for a Bakelite one. It's what the actual gun is made from anyway.

Well, not the barrel or firing mechanism, but the rails, stock, and grip are all Bakelite. At least they were on my M-16...
Cause you had an Israeli one. All the US made ones are different types of composite plastics, not bakelite.

Oh, ok. Good to know. Well, then make it from those kinds of plastic. Make a cheaper version as well.

Here's a legit use for it: Mount spare lights and/or optics on the rails, and keep spare parts in the "mug" part of it...
