Opie wants to treat Jerry Springer how he should've treated the Pauly D interview... He wants to blow it off.

I agree that Bachman is an idiot. And it annoys me to no end that they're taking her seriously.

Obama folds easier than a cheap suit. He's looking for compromise when he should be leading. I think his reliance on wanting to work together is his major weakness to be quite honest. Republicans push him around too easily. I'd respect him more if he showed some balls during a negotiation.

I'm quite fond of Jerry. Partly from how much I loved his trashorama television show when I was a kid, but he seems like a good guy.

Jerry does seem like a cool guy. And I'm sure I'll get bashed for it, but I totally agree with him.

In my home state of South Carolina; the government accounts for 20-30% of ALL jobs (including very big army & navy bases) making it the largest employer. During the debt ceiling fiasco; the republican governor & representatives voted WITH the democrats to keep the state working.

the gov't at the local, state, & national level is the largest employeer in every state - not to mention all the welfare, that's why the system will collapse

True, but South Carolina (the only example I know in detail) is more dependent than other states.

Mornin'
How's the show been lately? My alternate listening method has been down for about a week, so I've been out of the loop.
Is there anything worth recapping?
