Ok, so I'm out here in LA and my buddy the lobbyist got us tickets to the premiere of the latest Adam Sandler flick.

Yes, the trailers spoil a lot.
Yes, there are still some interesting secrets that come out.

Look, I fully realize that I may have stars in my eyes from going to a "Hollywood" premiere and the energy of the room making it a lot better than it was. That said, the movie is the best Sandler movie I've seen in a long, long time going back to the Happy Gilmore/Billy Madison/Waterboy days. Some good quotables, a lot of naked tits, the chick from Gossip Girls who plays Sandberg's fiancee looks like Danica McKellar, some fun 80s/early 90s music, and Sandler did very little of his annoying "little boy" voice.

Should be fun. Hits theatres on the 15th.

In the previews, it seems like he's doing nothing but a zany Adam Sandler voice.
Unless that's just his normal voice... Which I can't believe.

I remember seeing the trailer when I went to see 21 Jumpstreet, and me and my brother weren't sure if it was a real trailer or not. It looks terrible...
And I'm not even being "Too good for mainstream comedies guy", it just looks terrible.

Watch that shit on the big screen in Skokie, IL and you'll be singing a different tune. This movie looks like Sandler will keep his streak of shit movies alive.

I fully acknowledge that possibility.

And he wwas doing a Bahstahn accent for the movie, so the baby voice didn't come into play.

I'd think this type of movie would play a lot better in Skokie, IL.

I saw it.

I thought the movie tried to throw way too many things into it and it seemed over long. I so thought that Adam Sandler did a terrible job (he seemed too self-aware and less of a character), but Samberg was okay

I looked on IMDB and Alan Covert (the lead role in Grandma's Boy) isn't in this. He's been in almost every one of Sandler's movies. The black guy who played the African tribesman in GB is though.

It doesn't list Rob Schneider either, and I'm sure he's in it.

From what I remember he isn't. But Nick Swardson is.

"rob schneider is...." can now be replaced with "adam sandler is...."
Adam Sandler was a famous actor. So he decided to make flop movies for paychecks. But he's about to find out, that simply being a rich actor doesn't make him a good one. This summer Adam Sandler is...a has-been! Rated who the fuck cares.
