She’s trying to describe how OrangeMan is misusing the office, while actually describing how establishment politicians on both sides have amassed vast wealth during their tenures.

Leftists are eating up everything she says without realizing her description of a ‘bad guy’ can literally be applied to almost every political leader of the past few decades.

That was painful to watch/ listen to. We have a high school kid asking questions as a congresswoman. Hey dummy, read Peter Schweizers book: throw them all out. All of your stupid questions and theatrics were answered in that book. It is also not like the last president came out buying a 8 million dollar home after making 400k a year. It is going to be super glorious when this dope can not resist the temptation of becoming what she allegedly hates: rich. That will happen or the Dems/lobbyists/billionaires will take her out.

Pfft. Your home is outdated and scheduled for demolition whether you like it or not. Like I said before about her high-speed rail idea, none of this works without using eminent domain to an insane degree.

Wait I thought eminent domain at the border to build the wall was pure evil.

Yeah as I alluded to earlier, it will get shaped into something that will still be awful but might have a chance of passing once they shake off the fantasy elements of it.
Passing what? Not the senate assuming they even took it up for debate and a vote and sure as hell not going to be signed by Pres T
I'm not even sure Nancy would take it up in the house in the first place. You heard how dismissive she was of it yesterday, didn't even get the name of it right

Well, I said “eventually” (when a dem President is back) and on the premise that it would be whittled down and maybe broken up. I said that it wouldn’t pass in its current form.

That's just the first reason the 10 years thing is preposterous. This won't get out of committee until it's ripped apart, rewritten a dozen times, lost, found, lost again, and maybe, if they're lucky, finally gets voted on 5 years from now.

I wouldn't be surprised if universal healthcare passed in the next 10-20 years.
I was originally going to ask “how would that work?” But decided to google it.

I don’t see single payer happening anytime soon, but I do think it’s possible we pass a hybrid plan that guarantees coverage for everyone and forces employers to either maintain their current coverage or pay into Medicare so that their employees can get it through the government. This of course would lead to a slow transition into single payer, as I think many employers would opt out and/or the insurance companies would be slowly forced out of business.

Unapologetically Muslim...she'd be doing alot more than apologizing if she were to be seen without that burqa (yet the other one doesn't wear one, so who the fuck knows).

New Green Deal...who dis?

SKEPTIC

Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand.
"pay those who are unwilling to work" was fake? Was I supposed to know that? I don't know who puts this stuff out but it's annoying.
The actual resolution that outlines the Green New Deal does not include the "unwilling to work" part, but the overview document, released by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's office, does include the "unwilling" language. The overview entails the "nuts and bolts" of the plan. Ocasio-Cortez identifies as a democratic socialist.

Here's the overview document:

Can't really argue with the credit score stuff. I've seen some silliness with my own.
