There is no need for a new thraed for a bootleg version of the trailer. I'm going to wait until good quality like with Avengers and TDKR.

it's not as bad as the Avengers copy of the teaser but hey atleast you get the idea of the film.

I agree, merge this into the other thread. That being said, this just looks like a way too serious reimagining of Spiderman. I wonder what the new Superman is going to look like.

That looks like the best poorly made CGI movie ever! If that's what they were going for they nailed it.

It's about as realistic looking as the cartoon characters were in the musical number in 500 Days Of Summer.

Even though I'm a bit skeptical, I know I'll end up seeing it, mostly because Spidey was the first comic book character I ever liked literally since I learned how to walk. It just still seems too soon for this reboot. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

That POV CG part really does look horrible. I hope they don't try that shit with the movie. It ruined Doom.

If that one sequence ruined Doom for you I have to question you're taste in movies overall.

Yeah, Doom was a pretty shitty movie overall. You're right.

Another fucking reboot?? Seriously??? I thought this was gonna be a continuation of the story, even with them turning Parker from a nerd into an emo. I feel like I'm being read the first Chapter of a book over and over and over again. I know what fucking happens!! I get it. He's this little fuckable twink who nobody notices has the looks of a movie star until he gets bitten by a spider and gains the ability to jump around New York and sit on the top of skyscrapers emoting about the darkness in his heart. I got that bit!! I got that bit down. I know it. The past 50 years really dug that bit into my head. I'd like to know what happens next. Wait... actually, no I wouldn't I'm just bored and angry at other things.

I think they literally HAD to make this movie in order to retain the copyright, and since Toby Maguire quit, they preferred to just reboot it again instead of making another sequel with a different actor.

I know what you mean Nick. At least Superman Returns didn't re-tell the story of him coming from Krypton and growing up in Smallville, etc. Who doesn't know the basics by now?
Although, maybe they want to do a Batman Begins kind of approach to it.

Did Maguire quit? I don't know why Spider-Man 4 failed. All I know is everything seemed to be kicking into high gear with Ben Kingsley as Vulture and Anne Hathaway as Mrs. Vulture and then overnight it all collapsed. I like Raimi enough to give him a second chance, and I still don't trust this new guy. I liked 500 Days but to go from 500D to Spider-Man seems like a huge leap.

Because it was a sequel to Superman 1 and Superman 2, and I still don't know what they picked and chose from those films. "The kid's your son. I guess that means you ***** me or something. Whatever. I have absolutely zero energy now. Probably from the post-tramautic stress disorder I got from you ****** me."

The new Superman is rebooting it and I think it's going to at least part be an origin story. I think Superman is the superhero who least needs an origin story. I still say that if a new Superman movie began with some kind of montage explaining the universe he lives in, we can jump right into the story and his new adventures in 10 minutes.

I think the idea of a montage is good for the new Superman. Something similar to the way they started the first Lord Of The Rings. A few minutes and then let's get into it.
