I don't see this being particularly good. Jim's not that strong of an interviewer.

I was told Sam is the best interviewer on the channel by radio guys. Where's his show?

The dress. There was a dress. Something about the dress.

I know I won't have to wish too hard, but I hope this fails miserably .

Or it's wildly successful and Jim leaves O n A.

I dig his advice show sometimes. Sometimes it's an hour of the same substance abuse question flogged the whole time.

Much like every part of the show, he's hit and miss. Sometimes it's love, sometimes it's a fast forward.

Hope it does well.

Jim is the worst person to host a chat show.

He is just too obsessed with himself. His comedy scope is all about him and no-one else.

Did anyone attend these tapings? Who were the celeb guests? I think Jimmy has done some interesting interviews on O&A depending on the guest, though. It just figures, he taped these at Gotham...I used to work 4 blocks away from the club for 12 years, and now of course since my job has relocated to midtown Manhattan, he's there taping stuff....

Did you look at the dates that are in the picture in the first post? Do you think we're time travelers or are you just a dumb hole?

He's gotten much better. But his problem is he lives in a cocoon. Sure, you can prepare for an interview but if the subject isn't 70-80's metal music or big movies, his pop culture knowledge is nil. If he gets guests that are stuff he knows about, he'll probably do very well.

They gave it to this guy:

Never heard him on the show, I have only seen him on Redeye and he is just not funny at all. He does make a good punchline for Greg but that's about it.
Sex for Sam 3 kinda rooned the O&A show for him. He was the guy that got the couple to fuck in the church.

So probably a Tyson interview then.

Yeah, there's a dearth of stories about noted recluse Mike Tyson, this should be groundbreaking. It really bugs me that Opie and Jim constantly say how great a guest he is. He's a barely literate boor.
