I just finished watching the series premiere and this show is so stupid, but for some reason I could not stop laughing. Anyone else watch it? What did you think?

I tuned in during a commercial break during Criminal Minds, saw all the alien stuff, and promptly went right back. That show shouldnt make it to next week.

I watched the first episode. I can't say I laughed, but I'm going to stick with it. It seems goofy enough to work.

Take it or leave it. Not a terrible idea, but the coneheads did it better.

It's odd. It comes off more like a CBS show. It should be teamed up with Big Bang Theory.

The story behind it is the writer wrote it years ago as a sample, then went on to write "Cars" and "Crazy Stupid Love". He got a deal with ABC and came in with three great ideas for modern single camera comedies, but someone at ABC had read Neighbors and it was all they wanted to talk about. So he reluctantly let them run with it.

It may just surprise us, who knows? The aliens looked pretty hokey, but I guess they'll not bother with that gimmick going forward; my guess there is that they just needed the "normal" family to be all in with their being alien.

I thought it was a bit too weird for a CBS sitcom. It felt ABC for me, single camera with a touch of oddness but not overly quirky. (FOX is quirky, CBS is basic, NBC is insecure).

I really didn't hate the pilot. I need to see how it plays out, but it seemed appropriately silly without being too condescending or sarcastic. And with Willem Dafoe as the lead you have to give it a shot.

The funniest thing about the show is the human's "ugh, do we still have to say this" delivery of the aliens' sports icons names. You get the sense that everyone involved regrets that that was included in the pilot.

I saw the Halloween episode...It's weird, an why is Vince Vaughn's retarded brother the lead?

You talking about the Willem Dafoe-esque alien lead or the human lead guy.
