Since there's one for those NOT doing anything, guess we need a thread for those who are.

Expecting 15 people, including my mother in law, my parents, my aunt and uncle, our friends' family of 5, and ourselves and our three kids. Wife and I share duties on the cooking, as we each have our own specialties.

21 pound Butterball Turkey
12 pound Spiral Sliced Ham
Stuffing
Mashed Yukon Gold Potatos
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole (right off the soup can label, a family favorite)
Green Beans with Bacon Viniagrette
Collard Greens (it's NC, gotta have them, but I don't cook em, that's my uncle)
Watergate Salad (that Jello/Cool Whip/Fruit thing...that's my wife's Ohio contribution)
Fresh Cranberry Sauce
Canned Cranberry Sauce (my dad, into a dish in the shape of the can):haha7:
Homemade Coconut Pie, Lemon Pie, Pumpkin Pie

Now that's good eatin'...much better than Jimmy Dean saw-suge and t-bones and couple dozen eggs for breakfast...although that's what I usu. cook for weekend breakfast.

There's about 17 of us descending on my sister's house, which really isn't big enough to hold 17 people, but we'll manage.

Not sure what's on the menu other than the usual

Bird
stuffing
sweet potato pie or baked sweet potatoes
mashed white potatoes for the kids
green bean casserole
broccoli cheddar casserole
various pies and cookies

Im going to my Uncle Pete's house. Should be a great time. TONS of food, the usual= Two Giant Turkey's, gravy (he makes the best!) stuffing (he again makes the best!), Cranberry's, pie, squash, breads, mashed potatoes,,,etc etc etc...

AND I will watch a game there, then it's off to the moms house to check out the new construction! And watch the Celtics that night. Going to be an all around great day/night (even though I have to work from five am untill noon) after work it's going to be a lot of fun.

I'm really looking forward to this years holiday.

Hosting at our house. I guess about 17 folks coming. I have 2 12lb turkeys to fry. I also have some brats and kraut for my cheese-head brother in law.

Everyone has been assigned a dish to bring, so that makes it easier on us hosting.

I have a fridge in the garage full of beer, so that way I can tolerate everyone for more than 30 minutes.

I did forget the most important part: we're having a half keg of beer from a brew pub. The brothers will be happy. :)

I guess I should pick up some wine for the non-beer drinkers.
