I made some dill pickles and they came out great
That reminds me I forgot to add dill to my pickles,

Well I made my pickled hot peppers today, I actually “canned” them I’ve done it in the past but I’m always worried about poisoning myself.
All but one of my lids “popped” I will just eat that one first if I refrigerate then it won’t ever be an issue, well at least for 6months
Oh and yes I gassed myself out again with the boiling vinegar and salt solution, last time I made hot sauce I gassed the entire house so bad even the dogs hid outside


No hopes of repair
You can use dill seed but I think using fresh is the better way to go

I stopped at the Grocery and bought some Koegel's Pickled Bologna. They come in big containers like this .

But we get them in packages like this.
