This is more maddening than the claim that Obama is Muslim! I'm outtraged :action-sm

Keith Courage in Alpha Zones came with it for christ sake!

Bonk's Big Adventure anyone?

Or Blazing Lazers!

Or Splatter House!

The TG16 is one of my Faves as well, but it did have some stinkers on it. China Warrior for example was terrible and looked like the game that every TV show would use as the joke video game.

I had one too at the time pretty cool system. They even had a handheld player that used the same cards that the main system used. Loved splatter house and bonk was cool but I remember there was a game with some type of alien ships shaped like bugs that I played forever.

As relevant as an Atari Jaguar. That said, I got one sitting in a box in the other room.

Danny bringing this up today totally brought me back to playing this crappy system. No wonder NONE of my friends had it and just played Sega and shit. I remember Bonk's Adventure REALLY well..I played that one for hours on end. Also had JJ and Jeff, which was AWFUL. Oh yeah, I remember Splatterhouse pretty well too. What awful names. I miss it.

I had a Turbo Express. THAT was the shit. At the time, I was able to walk around, watch TV on this thing and play the exact same games I could play on my TV. This was before the handhold consoles were any good.

JJ and Jeff would have been much better had they not neutered the Japanese version and removed the farting.

It was a shitty console. I had one and in the short life cycle of the console there were only a hand full of games that didn't blow ass. Bomberman, Bomberman '93, Baseball, Bonk, Parasol Star and that's about it. That's 5 games worth a damn.

But I will say I played Bomberman into the ground and '93 is still one of the best versions of the game.

Splatter House was only exclusive for a while (I believe it also ended up on Genesis). JJ and Jeff, which I owned, Sucked!

What else is there? Y's? Yo Boy Skateboarding? A shit load of puzzle games (what was that one, block block or some shit).

And Keith Curage was only good when you were in robot form, they actually made the platforming boy parts as gay as possible; with rainbows and clouds.

I'm a total gaming geek when it comes to this stuff as I have TurboGrafx, Express and a TurboDuo that is modified to play the Japanese games. Over there they got some great ones like After Burner and Street Fighter 2 as well as a lot of the Neo Geo fighting games with a card adapter.

It was a system that never reached it's potential here in the states, but had some great games in Japan. The handheld Turbo Express was a great system at the time too. I've still got one hanging around here and now it's got me thinking I should pull it out and give the games another go.

You gotta admit the "HuCard" was ahead of its time.

Was it R-Type? I kinda remember that game being sweet.

Loved that system.

Not as much as my Neo-Geo, but both were crazy ahead of their time.

Devil's Crush was good for pinball. At least it had a point. I did get JJ and Jeff for my birthday once, it was awful. Bomberman is one of the most addictive games ever.
