THE FEZ MAN

as a matter of fact i dont have 5$
@Stormrider666 @LiddyRules
I also liked “the toys that made us”
I’m just at the right age to have actually watched both cartoons, I actually vividly remember the first time I saw the original GI Joe “movie” that was put out before the Saturday morning cartoon, transformers is a little foggy but I did have a few, they were too expensive for my parents to buy (boo hooo government cheese) and I was getting just a little to old for toys.
What is really sad is I had an original boba fett action figure that my mother got me by sending in the missiles from my battle star galactica viper and a bunch of others but obviously I played with them and then she gave them to my kid so they are worthless

Oh and the reason I came here, I’m watching “andromeda” and “the expanse”
Andromeda stinks on ice, I put it on for back ground noise but it’s Just bad.
“The expanse” I’m half way through season 2 and I’m kind of lost/confused it’s got too many story lines and weird worthless plot twists and odd holes, like I never understood the detectives obsession with the girl that was infected, it made absolutely no sense, the side arc about the inventor of the Epstein drive, why the belt is a “neutral zone” how the “main cast” has been able to keep a warship... it’s just almost too jumbled like the last few seasons of Battlestar Galactica

I did the first few Expanse audiobooks a few years ago, barely remember the show but don't think it deviated too much. Julie Mao was kind of the character the whole plot was built on. Miller the detective was hired to find her, I recall that he becomes obsessed with her. Who her father is, what she was working for, what she was infected with is kind of the whole focus of the first book/season. Might be worth going back a few episodes.

Don't remember the details on the ship as much as i think it is a case of finders keepers.

It’s getting a little better

Speaking of the price of the toys, considering how much money the big four (Transformers, G.I.Joe, MOTTU, and Star Wars) made combined, its no wonder Toys R Us went out of business. I know they still make action figures, but there is no way they're selling as many as they did in the 1980s'.

What's sad is that people still think the mass-produced shit released today will somehow be collectible.

The last time I was in a toys r us (a few years ago looking for a birthday gift for someone else’s kid) it was mostly baby stuff and kind of “bare” I remember when it was like a Home Depot for toys, honestly I think that toys in general are nowhere near as popular as they used to be, especially with “tweens”

I'm about 3 episodes into the new season of Preacher (I think the finale's coming soon), and this is much better than the last season, which I thought dragged a lot. If there's one thing I really need to praise about the show it's the casting. Everyone in The Grail is spot on, some of the best comic casting/design I've ever seen.

I was looking at the list for a shitty local comic con. I was so happy when I came across Julie Benz. I had completely forgotten about her and her shitty acting. She's been disgraced to double a comic con events.

I binge watched preacher to catch up, I really like that show.
I’m rewatching “band of brothers” because my wife never saw it, it is highly rewatch able, I saw it years ago when it was released but it is much better “binge watching”
I wanted to watch last season of fear the walking dead but they are charging for it, I didn’t like it enough to pay for it

I instinctively want to say "fuck you" anytime Fear The Walking Dead is brought up. It could be in its second season or sixth but I will forget it exists the second I hit Post Reply.

Yea I’m not a huge fan, no way I’m paying for it, I honestly watch the walking dead stuff mainly because I like yelling at the tv about how stupid the people are

I only watch the first and last episodes of each half season of TWD - pretty much for the same reason you do. The Carl death episode was one of the most unintentionally hilarious hours of television I've seen in years. How long did it take him to die? A week and a half?

I just can’t grasp how stupid they are, it’s like they are all morons who can’t figure out the most simple of shit, like operating heavy equipment or building a simple wall (the wall in Alexandrea infuriated me, it was built backwards)

I can't stand her horrible squeaky porn star voice.

Yesterdays Hero

She's better than you, Smirkalicious.
Been watching 'Humans' since season 1. It's a good little show. Worth the watch, barring the parallels that could easily be made between the premise and actual real life of course.

Hog's Big Ben

Sharp Objects on HBO just wrapped up. Fantastic ending. Amy Adams is wonderful. I almost wanna binge rewatch the whole thing.

And speaking of binging, I breezed through The End of the Fucking World...easy enough with only eight 20-minute episodes. It's the best series I've ever seen about a self-described high school sociopath who decides he wants to graduate from killing animals to something bigger: the new girl at his school.

BALLERS is back for season four. Russell Brand is in it this year as the action moves from Miami to LA.

Looks like they're going to do a facsimilie of the NFL kneeling scandal; as the main plot appears to be a hotshot young black surfer (well, a mulatto, to be honest) and he gets a huge deal from Coke and all that, he wins his tournament... then gives the black power sign on the podium. I guess shit pops off from there.

Charles is entering a viper pit as the new (and highly naive) GM of the LA Rams and Ricky is desperate to get out of domestic life and back to playing.

It's fluff but highly entertaining fluff, nonetheless.

Jack Ryan. I like it so far. Wendel pierce from The Wire is in it, and he's great in everything that I've seen him in.

I just started the first epi. I have to get over my JohnK thing. I don't dislike him but I also don't think he should be an actor.

Some people can act but they still shouldn't be actors.

I don't like how they'e make out the SAD operators and the SF guys look like dumb meat heads. They are usually pretty fucking smart.
