Tipping

Just listened to an old show where they're discussing a story where a woman ordered $180 in a restaurant and tipped $8 and they're all talking how disgraceful it is

So f'ing what. Tips aren't compulsory, how is this even a discussion? I only tip unless I feel like I've recieved great service, And then it's only the change from the notes I can't be bothered waiting for

If you go to a sit-down restaurant, and don't tip, perhaps you should stick to fast food.

It's been over an hour now .. Are you sure you sent it to McGavin?
I think there's a problem with the PM system. You should probably deliver your messages of heartfelt devotion to Shooter by hand. Just to be sure.

I've found that sending 15 or more PMs in quick succession usually breaks the logjam.

Why do you tip poor service instead of great service? Seems backwards.

The service industry is subsidizing your cheap ass because you don't want to pay the bare minimum. Just stay home and make a sandwich.

I never understood tipping a % of the bill and I refuse it, don't even know what it's supposed to be. $35 check at a cheap place she gets $10 if service was acceptable. $70 check at another place she gets $10, and those places the waitress usually doesn't bring out the food.
