I only caught a bit of todays show while in my car, so I'm sorry if this was already brought up.

They were talking this morning about not wanting a female on with them out of fear of being sued. Opie knows 2 people that this happened to very well. Back in his WCMF days in Rochester, Brother Weases long-time sidekick was Cindy Pierce. They were VERY close to the point where she was even god-mother to one of his children. One day, she came in and was very quiet on the air, taking notes on paper (they even commented about it because it was out of character for her and odd), and the next day, she didn't show up and served him with papers for sexual harrassment.

Mind you, this is the same woman that whipped out a tit live on the air and squeezed breast milk into Tommy Mule's coffee for him prior to this, and yet she went on to sue for sexual harrassment. She sued for 10 or 15 million, and settled out of court for an undisclosed ammount, and in the ruling, they can't even mention her on the air.

Women like this are the same ones that I hope develop some flesh eating virus thing about the head and neck area. :arrrh:

man this crap is out of control. It's a shame. I mean abuse is one thing.. like they said this am. But some of this shit is just so stupidly wrong, it's sickening.

I've been in relationships & casually dated people I work with & a couple have wondered why I act so sterile @ work. Not like I'd be all over them in the first place... I guess this PC shit has trained me. One was totally cool, (back room sex was the tits!) but I was concerned about other people.

Fucking doomed.

I had a friend in the military get brought up on charges back in the 90s. Some gal soldier said he was harassing her in a training class. At the investigation, she finally announced, "He won't talk to me and ignores me." Case was tossed out.

in the early XM days, when that gay intern Noah was getting ragged on, I really was afraid that the boys were pushing it. and the kids father was a lawyer.

I still think they dodged a major bullet. they've insinuated that his father threatened legal action at some point.

In an effort to "educate" us, the Office of Court Administration is spending the money they could be giving us in the form of raises on a half-day seminar entitled 'How to Avoid Sexual Harrassment'

They could easily save money - you avoid sexual harassment by not being so fucking sensitive about things. Not everything a guy says to a woman is harassment and not everything a woman says to a guy is either (there have been rare cases of guys being pussies & running to their attorneys)

We've become a litigious country full of cry babies.

I blame the Jews ;)

How many Jews are attorneys? Who handles these lawsuits? The defense rests Your Honor

Today, I actually had to take online training and a quiz for harassment in and out of the workplace. I got a 100 on the quiz, which consisted of 10 True or False scenarios. Man, I am extremely careful what I say, and fuhgetaboutit if they hear me listening to O&A!

What a total HOLE for doing that to Brother Wease!

I hope the settlements "the holes" get when they sue are substantial, because I can't imagine anyone would be stupid enough to ever hire them again. Those lawsuits are a one shot deal... they better get paid like a mofo, because they'll never get another crack at the lawsuit lottery.

A hole I used to work with filed a bogus sexual harassment lawsuit against the company we were both working for at the time. She bragged to me about the $50 thousand settlement she got, she also grudgingly acknowledged that her lawsuit was basically bogus... being that she was, in fact, a bigger pig than most of the men she worked with.

Six months after the settlement, and she couldn't figure out why she couldn't get another job. She had burned through the fifty grand, and she desperately needed the work, but... go figger... not a single hospital, or bio-medical electronics company across the whole Long Island would hire her. She called me, pissing and moaning, and asking me to write her a reference... as if :icon_roll... she told me how pissed off she was with all the companies who turned her down. I told her, "Gee... maybe you should sue them." Wooosh... it went right over her head. She was clueless.

Also, the same problem for this subject applies to womens' power when it comes to crying ****. Patrice's story certainly demonstrates that. Women simply have too much legal power when they can make claims such as these without evidence or witness and win almost all the time.

I don't know how true it is but I'd read somewhere that only 2% of all reported ***** actually happened in a legal sense.

of that 2% how many actually happened at all? It pisses me off when women will cry **** just because they wanted to get even with a guy because they had an argument, she didn't get her way or because he dumped her. Give me a break... About 25 years ago I was working in retail and one of the saleswomen was fooling around with the senior buyer from another department. The guy was married and decided to end it with the woman & concentrate on making his marriage work. Rather than accepting it as an adult, this bitch ran up to personnel & "confessed" she was sleeping with him. BUT, she blamed him - he promised he'd get her out of sales and into the offices if she slept with him. No matter how much the guy tried to deny it, the woman insisted moreso that hit happened. The guy lost his job because of this cunt.

Sometimes, my gender really embarrasses me

About 15 years ago I used to work for a large corporation in the EEO office. I took care of the reporting of claims of sexual harassment, racial claims, etc. We used to see some seriously sick shit there...aggressive fondling, sexual implements and extremely explicit pornographic pictures posted on walls, excessive asking for dates, stalking, everything short of (and sometimes including) sexual assault. And of course it was all "just a joke". I'm not talking about the bullshit claims, these are cases that were backed up by multiple male and female witnesses or flat out admitted to by the guys themselves (usually the "I was only jokin'" guys).

It sucked in the 60s through the early 90s that women who were in those situations weren't taken seriously about their concerns, but Anita Hill really changed that. The unfortunate fallout is that lawyers realized they could make serious coin in filing sexual harassment suits on behalf of women with flimsy excuses of harassment, bilking corporations out of millions of dollars. The result we have today is that true harassment isn't taken seriously. I HATE these women and their leech lawyers because there are true cases of harassment that cannot be properly prosecuted. Once upon a time victims were seen as "too sensitive" to "jokes" by guys (which in real harassment cases is nothing but a bullshit copout a la "I was only jokin'" guy). Now any victim regardless of their story is seen as a "moneygrubber". Either way women with real concerns and issues lose.

For the record, I'm pretty damned laid back on this kind of thing...I've had incidents in my career and have never had a problem taking care of it myself or shrugging it off. Some places require a thicker skin than others, and IMHO if you can't deal with certain personalities and issues, you don't belong in that workplace. But there's one thing I stand by and that there's never an excuse for sexual intimidation (stalking, etc.). Guys and girls who repeatedly harass a coworker for dates, etc. should never be tolerated as it just causes breakdowns in teams and headaches for managers.

My grandpa gave me two pieces of advice that I've found helpful

1. Never shit where you eat.
2. Never fuck (physically) anyone you work with.

With the absurd PC environment in the corporate world today you'd be crazy to chase trim at work, a fuckin broken nail and the broads screaming molestation for Christs sake.

Hello,
That woman in which you call a wench, and that apparently deserves to get a flesh eating virus is my mother.
I understand you people have your opinions. I respect that 100%. However, my mother is an amazing woman, and has dedicated her life to me.
You know what people tell you, and you hear what you hear. You can say whatever you'd like about my mother, but without her, I wouldn't be
a second-semester senior studying to be a trauma surgeon, and applying for school and medical school at the high scale of America's Top 100 High Schools.

So, say what you will, but mind you that you may have been misinformed. Using malicious intent and profanity to express a harsh opinion, especially about somebody you don't know personally OR their true story, is a sheer sign of closed-mindedness. My mom may have done some crazy things that not everyone may approve of, but she's comfortable in her own skin-
and as far as I'm concerned, that's generally what people strive for.

Oh goody.

However, my mother is an amazing woman, and has dedicated her life to me.
Well sure, that's easy to do when you're sitting on a pile of money from a bogus sexual harassment suit.

You can say whatever you'd like about my mother, but without her, I wouldn't be a second-semester senior studying to be a trauma surgeon, and applying for school and medical school at the high scale of America's Top 100 High Schools.
Nobody cares. Wait, you're applying for medical school or you're still in high school? Just how old are you?

So, say what you will, but mind you that you may have been misinformed. Using malicious intent and profanity to express a harsh opinion, especially about somebody you don't know personally OR their true story, is a sheer sign of closed-mindedness.
I hope you're not belittling our collective close-mindedness. That's not very open-minded of you.

My mom may have done some crazy things that not everyone may approve of, but she's comfortable in her own skin- and as far as I'm concerned, that's generally what people strive for.
People also strive for huge paydays based on bullshit lawsuits, so I guess she's a double winner.

Good day.

Hi,

Your mother is a frivolous lawsuit-bringing whore. She's a thin-skinned attention whoring fatso. Nobody cares that she raised a failure as a child: you. So go fuck your mother, and maybe she'll sue you for child support when she gives birth to your sister/daughter.
