Colored President's Time happened again today. The President was almost an hour late for his ode to amnesty and Mexican ass kissing speech. I bet he's never late to tee time.

The next time President Obama hits the links, it will be his 100th round of golf since coming to the White House. That’s quite a milestone in just 3 1/2 years. As it takes him about six hours to drive to the greens and complete 18 holes, Mr. Obama has spent the equivalent of four months’ worth of work time golfing.

I thought he would have been carrying the bags for some extra income.

Honestly, these stories are incredibly lame.

What does Obama's scorecard look like?

It should be a public record.

Can't we just count his first term a mulligan and hopefully elect somebody new.

6 hours to play 18 holes (one "round" I guess) x 100 rounds = 600 hours of golf playing / 24 hours per day = 25 days. How do they get 4 months out if that? Even saying a "workday" is 8 hours (hah) that's 75 "workdays" worth of golf. Not even 3 months. Where the hell is this guy coming from "whaa"

Let's put it another way. Obama has been President for about 1200 days. That means he plays a round of golf an average of once every 12 days or 6 hours out of every 288 hours. 2% of his time is spent playing golf. Holy shit stop the presses.

They probably figgered it as a 40 hour work week. 600/40=15 weeks, just under 4 months. Because I'm sure the prez punches a clock and works 9-5 like a working stiff. :icon_roll

You dont find that to be a bit much. Shit I wish I had the time and money to play that often. By your math playing once every twelve days isnt much. Maybe if you throw in all his bball games, vacations and whatever else I forgot we could stop the presses

President Obama's Luxurious Schedule
By Rick Richman

On May 7, Geoffrey Norman posted "Today's Laugh Line" at National Review Online -- a quote from a column by Mark Halperin in Time asserting Mitt Romney has "the luxury of an open schedule" allowing him to "spend every waking hour as a full-time candidate," while President Obama "is required to do his day job."

It was even funnier if one looked at President Obama's May 7 schedule. Here was his schedule that day, in its entirety, with all events taking place in the Oval Office:

10:00 a.m. The President receives the Presidential Daily Briefing.

11:00 a.m. The President meets with senior advisors.

2:30 p.m. The President holds a conference call with elected officials and student government leaders from across the country to discuss the need to prevent rates from doubling on July 1.

Obama is fortunate he didn't serve as president during the Bush administration, when the Presidential Daily Briefing was generally given around 7 a.m. to a president who typically arrived at 6:45 a.m. to the Oval Office. According to the daily schedules posted on the White House website, President Obama's official day usually starts at 10 a.m. with his daily briefing.......

Exactly. At one point they said Bush had taken more vacation time than
any other president. This is just more of the same as opposed to the
"change" Obammer promised. They're all the same.

I agree they are all the same, I just cant stand when someone defends either party for shit like this. Either it is ok or it is not. I personally dont think playing 100 rounds of golf or taking tons of vacation with a job like that is ok especially when the economy has sucked a big one. Oh yeah but its Bush's fault, no its Clinton's fault, etc, etc. Same tired shit

If they did, then they need to discount rounds of golf he played on the weekends.

You forgot to factor in the weekly vacations.
No one's forgotten what your boy was doing for eight years in office

Another lame excuse "He shouldn't do that because the economy is bad". "He shouldn't do that because we are at war". No one has ever stated "Wow, I'm glad to see the President take some time for himself to clear his head , the country is in fine shape and a man needs a break from all the good work he's done recently".
