Who the fuck did Anthony Pettis **** to get stuck on the Preliminary card?

I mean, yeah, he lost to Guida, but damn.

I guess it goes to show how stacked the UFC roster is these days.

Pettis got beat on free TV, now's his chance to redeem himself to the same audience.

If I was Joe Silva, I would switch Lauzon/Guillard and Nam/Garcia to Spike and move Maia/Santiago and Pettis/Stephens to the Main Card. If you think about it, Guillard, Lauzon, Nam and Garcia are never in boring fights, they're the perfect combo to start the night.

JMCC, I don't think its wise to switch almost guaranteed exciting fights from a PPV card that doesn't have a powerhouse draw on it
I think the reason those fights are on over Pettis & Maia is exactly the reason you stated

I guess, but the Main Card already has 2 titles on the line, (with one of them being a rematch to one of the best fights of 2011) and the biggest trash talker in MMA/UFC. That should be enough to sell the card. I don't disagree though, I think any combination of those 4 fights would have made sense.

that's because he's being himself rather than the heel character that shows up in the ring and the press interviews. I don't think he's that much of an ass, but he found his role in UFC and he relishes in it.

Just reading the preliminary play by play. Let's hope this trend of not finishing fights doesn't keep going. And they sound pretty boring to top it off

I watched the prelims. There were good fights. There were bad fights. Pretty sure they all went to decision.
