November 19th from San Jose, CA

Henderson and Rua are replacing Velasquez and dos Santos who got bumped up a week for the Fox debut. Also expected, Vitor Belfort vs. Cung Le and Urijah Faber vs. Brian Bowles. Should be a good one.

I favor Shogun slightly, but Hendo has the perfect style to beat Shogun. The problem is that Hendo doesn't use his wrestling anymore, lately is all about his "H-Bomb."

I gotta side with shogun just for age alone but his knee is a bitch. I say the knee of shogun makes or breaks this fight.

i SHAN'T be doubting Hendo again.

When someone knocks the meanness off his face, his run at the title is over.

Until then, he looks at you like your whole family's in a little prison and that prison collectively ***** his family.

All he wants is 5 minutes alone.

My gut says Hendo, my head says Shogun. Shogun's best shot is a submission or wearing him down with leg kicks. Neither one of them has ever been KO'd out cold. I don't see Hendo being able to pour it on for a strike stoppage. Shogun might be able to chop him down and get a TKO from relentlessness.

Great fucking fight either way.

I honestly have no clue who to pick here.

As soon as I convince myself it should be Shogun, I remember the injuries and the back and forth as to how good he does.

Then I remember that when he IS healthy he is a monster.

Either way, it is a great choice as a replacement to Cain and JDS. Honestly, this is the better of the two fights, and it makes sense to have the "WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE" up for grabs on the live event for the promotional effect.

I gotta say, the Fertitas and Dana know what they are fucking doing. I mean look at the developments recently :

Earlier start time (I know this can be seen as a bad thing for some west coasters, but go fuck yourselves, eventually your main population centers will fall into the sea so East coast is where it is at.)

Prelims streaming on facebook (I love being able to see all the fights, I get to actually see the unknown guy have a few good fights and be psyched for him when he makes it to the main card instead of relying on the hype videos)

The fox deal

Buying and killing the abomination that is STRIKEforce (I know it isn't dead YET, but if I never hear that announcing team again it will be a great development in MMA)

Putting on a fuck ton of cards. (which I pay for every single time.. stealing is bad...)

And its about to get better:

Dana White: Facebook Fights to End in January, All Fights Will Be Televised

Interviewer: One thing we've noticed recently is the Facebook fights. Is that going to continue with the ongoing Fox deal, or is that going to go away with the prelims and all that stuff?

Dana: Yeah it will go away when the Fox deal starts, which is in January. Because all that programming now, I mean the reason we did the Facebook fights was because nobody could see those fights. So we put them up on Facebook as an option for fans, because we always love to give more fights. But with the fact that Fox wants to pick up all these fights, they'll be on television now.

That sucks for Vitor, but Wanderlei finally gets a fight he can actually win and win by KO.

My guess is that is how they brand FUEL-TV by airing 3 hrs of prelims & build a UFC base on that net
I would love for fuel tv to eventually become like fight tv or some shit and kind of do what HDnet is doing for the fight game but be UFC centered.

Or he'll suffer a spinning flying crane kick-y KO, which is excellent as well.

If Hendo wants to win, he has to use his wrestling. Shogun has horrible TDD and he has to exploit that.

Wanderlei better win, otherwise, I'm thinking retirement.

Faber needs to avoid getting into a brawl, because if Bowles catches him, its lights out.

After his last fight, Story asked for a striker, Kampmann not only fits that role, but he also has very good TDD, I see Kampmann winning a decision.

I love Bonnar and I can't believe it's been a year since he last fought, but this is a rough one. Kingsbu has been a monster ever since he roided up like crazy.
