Ditto....

Honestly, that is pretty much my picks.

I am really hoping it is a return to form for Aldo because I loved him in WEC but his UFC fights have been boring.

I wouldn't count on it, this is what Aldo said about being a champ:

"It´s a little bit of both. When I was fighting at the WEC I had no responsibility. I had a dream and fought for my house and the guy was just trouble in my way (to achieve my dream). Nobody knew who Aldo was. I could throw knees, everything. Now everybody wants to be the champion, everybody watches my fights to see what I do. They study me a lot more, I became the target, so I study more too because I know they will show something new.

And yes I have to play within the rules (to score points) too, that´s always good. I'm winning and thus I'm the champion, I can´t expose myself. In the future nobody will care if was a decision or a finish, all that will matter is if i was the champion or not. GSP always goes to decision, and he still is the champion and one of the top P4P. I don't see a problem AT ALL. For me, the important thing is to just win the fight.

Just announced on the weigh-in.... Rumble is going to miss weight. Dana is PISSED! Rumble is still going to weigh in today but will have to weight in tomorrow. Belfort said he will fight if Rumble is 205 or less. Good Lord, I understand maybe being a couple pounds over, but it seems like a question if he will even be at 205! Wow!

How's that even possible? I can see him being over weight by a pound or two, but 12lbs? Shame on Johnson, he better have a good excuse (not likely) and better win tomorrow, otherwise, Dana has all the right in the world to cut his ass.

From Alvarez:
Anthony Johnson not only missed weight for tomorrow's UFC 142, but he "badly" missed weight. He walks around very heavy and always had trouble making 170, where he was absolutely gigantic in the cage, and this fight was taking place at 185 to help avoid those issues. A few days ago he was 215 and claimed he'd have no problem making 185. He stepped on the scale today and was 197. He must forfeit 20% of his purse to Belfort and there will be a stipulation. He will be weighed immediately before going into the cage with Saturday night, and if he is one pound over 205 (for a 185-pound fight – welcome to MMA), the fight will be canceled live on PPV.

Oh, ok. What's wrong with using the original 'catchweight'?

Second thought, never mind. I keep forgetting that wikipedia is edited by retards. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Johnson_(fighter)

edit: ok figured it out. Catchweight is more of a weightclass that frequently happens by accident, whereas Franklinweight is more defining of the actual fighter and his habits.

Catchweight is any fight that is held at a weight that is not an official weightclass.

Had Fedor/Hendo been at 220 or 230 it would have been a catchweight fight.

"Franklinweight" is would specifically be 195lbs because that is a weight he fought at more than once (between middleweight and light heavyweight).

I think

Why is the crowd so flat for Gonzaga? I figured they'd be going crazy.

I think the important thing is catchweight is always an adjective and franklinweight is usually a noun.
