Meltzer:

It appears the main PPV card for the UFC 20th anniversary show is complete with tonight's addition of a heavyweight bout featuring Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem.

The main card as it stands right now is:

  • Georges St-Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks for the 170-pound title
  • Chael Sonnen vs. Rashad Evans
  • Overeem vs. Mir
  • Robbie Lawler vs. Rory MacDonald
  • Josh Koscheck vs. Tyron Woodley

Good card
I hope Mir sends Reem packing. I was hoping Reem would be cut after last fight

Stacked card for sure, Rory Lawler sounds like an interesting match up as does Mir and Reem given their last fights, Chael is one of the most active fighters in the UFC it seems. The titles have been getting more slippery coin flip on gsp hendricks.

I think gsp will keep it standing and out point him, neither reem or mir prove much if they win but it'll keep a job for one of them.

UFC Alistair Overeem appeared on Monday's episode of Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour, and said if he loses to Frank Mir at UFC 167 in November, he will quit MMA. 'Reem is on a two-fight win streak. Mir has lost three in a row.

"If I lose to Frank Mir, I have to find something else to do," said Overeem.

"I just lost my last fight and was just thinking about what I was going to do next and have a nice holiday. The fight is coming way more sooner than I expected...I was aiming for maybe December, January. But I'm a fighter and I love to be active."

Reem is on a two fight win streak since when? Did he jump some guys at a 7-11 or in a bar parking lot?
