UFC files suit to hold events in New York

I have a lot of business with the Chinese
The UFC today announced the filing of a lawsuit in U.S. District Court listing as plaintiffs New York state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., attempting to overturn the 1997 law and claiming it violates the first amendment.
In the interesting strategy, listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit besides the UFC itself were some carefully designated fighters, champions Jon Jones, who grew up in New York state, Frankie Edgar from New Jersey, as well as Brian Stann, a military war hero who the company is going to use as its spokesperson among the fighters, Matt Hamill, another fighter from New York who is the only deaf fighter in the organization, and Gina Carano, who herself has never fought for UFC. Carano's addition to the suit is major, likely used because she will be starring in a movie that comes out in January and it also indicates a commitment to women in MMA.

What's black and white and red all over?
Wish my suit included Gina Carano.
