Meltzer: UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta has been negotiating this week with the Convention Center of Manaus in Brazil, an outdoor building that holds 100,000 people for an upcoming show. He said they expect to set a new company attendance record and sell the place out.

That is severe

They can do it. The "Big Chill at the Big House" hockey game between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University (December 11, 2010 at Michigan Stadium at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor) drew at least 104,173. The UFC shouldn't have any trouble getting that many people.

Because getting 100,000 spoiled rich college kids to show up and drink cheap beer is exactly the same as getting 100,000 illiterate third-worlders with little access to media to show up?

Ah ok misunderstanding on my part.

On the note of brazil the savages chanted "your going to die" to all the foreign fighters at the weighins. If american fans did this there would be a million articles about how we set our sport back by ignorant statements.

I still don't know why he said it. I assumed he thought I was being to mean to the Brazilians or overreacting to what he said but then he said he was supporting my opinion. I don't know what tapatalk is either, long story short I'm very confused.

There's 2 things going on here. He wrote "Touché" and the line under it is just an automatic line that Tapatalk (which is a smartphone app for message boards) adds to every post so you know it's being posted from a phone. Does that clear it up, or do you actually not know what Touché means either? (It's from fencing. It means "touched" and it's called when you score a point)

Well that clears things up. I misunderstood the word, I thought he meant touchy as in oversensitive or reactionary for no good reason. I've never actually heard this terminology before for scoring or making a point.

As far as the smartphone app, well I don't have a smart phone so I don't know apps. I guess the lesson here is I'm an asshole.

Aww, fella, don't be so hard on yourself. I used a fancy French word on a Dick-joke radio show forum... If anything I'm the asshole.
