Picking Ellenberger, hope he mauls Sanchez. I'm more interested in Herman/Struve than I am the main event.

Yes same here. Something tells me that Sanchez Ellenberger is going to be boring.
Is hard to picture Sanchez in a boring fight, but I said the same thing about Nick Diaz before he fought Condit...

I'm going with a couple of upsets. Sanchez and Markes.

I'm still not convinced about Ellenberger yet. I thought Rocha beat him and he caught Shields.

As for Markes, I was impressed with his last fight, I think he can be even more dangerous at MW.

I know it is but something is telling me it might be boring. And Ellenberger might be the reason. Who knows. This isn't a card I'm super excited for but those usually end up being the most exciting ones.

When Diego gave up Tony Robbins and stopped being the Nightmare, he should have retired.

His darkness made him a beast. He needs to find it again.

What time does it start? I know Facebook prelims are underway, but when does the actual thing start?

The Main Event winner won't replace Diaz against Condit
Dana said Condit is waiting out GSP
i guess this winner might need 2 more fights since GSP wont be ready until end of year

So what was the point of an interim belt?

I thought it was so the division wouldn't be at a standstill, yet that's exactly what's going to happen with both GSP and Condit out till they fight in November.

That happens a lot
Carwin won & fought Brock next too without defending
I never got "interim" belt anyway, nobody considers them a champ

It's a marketing thing, especially now when non-title main events are also 5 rounds.

but they don't even really market it
They were not calling Condit 'champ' after the last PPV, GSP was still the champ
that is part of my point, they don't even bother trying to play it off bc fans know

they should just striip belts if its 18 months inactive or something
