I hope they do Jim Davis and Bil Keane next show. Too bad Charles Schultz died, he'd have been a great guest.

So was this going to be broadcasted live, or for a later date?

Also, post updates!

(ps, angel knows I couldn't escort her because I'm 600 miles away. I'd list the feet and inches away, but that'd be stalkerish and creeeepy)

Overall, it was pretty interesting. It was the first one so there were a few kinks but generally it went pretty smoothly. Fezzie did a great job as "MC" It was pretty lightly attended but considering the lack of notice and the fact that it was in the middle of the day that's not surprising. The vibe was somewhat uncomfortable at first until the show got rolling.

Ronnie B gave a good, laid back interview to both comics, not so much steering the ship but keeping it pointed into the waves. There were certainly a few "lines of the day" that didn't go unnoticed by the mostly R&F crowd. Mencia was pretty open about his "issues" (The whole Ned thing and Joke Theft) and made a plausible case for parallel thinking on the part of he and other comics. He wasn't asked about it as much as he seemed to want to address it.

Patrice O'neal proved once again why he's one of the most unique comedic acts out there. Generally accepted by his peers as a genius but somehow lacking in public recognition for choosing quality over quantity and refusing to do the comedy equivalent of the old soft shoe just to gain notoriety.

It will be worth the listen when it's aired I think.

Thanks to my benefactor for having me along on such short notice :)
