thats odd, i doubt that they killed him, but you never know, if those monsters started fighting and he got in the middle its quite possible for them to kill people , and they will if trained too. but they are well known for just the opposite, when i was dog shopping they were on my top 5 list.
TAIL-WAGGINGLY GOOD UPDATE - Luckily, I'm still fine, but police say the victim might have had a heart attack since none of the wounds appear to have been life threatening. TMZ says: They speculate that he was possibly running for his life after a confrontation with the dogs. Cops say the dogs are very friendly, and as we reported, police are not aware of any previous problems. They do not anticipate charging Rhames with a crime, as this appears to have been a "pure accident."
Just because bull mastiffs are like Gentle Ben does not mean Ben was not a bear. My neighbor has one and as long as you show him no aggression, he is a sweetheart. Another neighbor was raising Pitt-Bulls to be nasty and they got loose. The Bull mastiff made short work of those products of the piece of shit. The neighbor that lost the Pitts somehow became an enemy of the Mastiff.
Also in the pack was an English bull dog. The key word there is “bull”. Unless it is socialized correctly and in a lot of cases aggression trained, any dog with bull in their name can be a killer. If one member in a pack attacks, guess what the others are going to do.
I have always owned breeds that have a tendency to be aggressive. What a lot of people do not realize is that like that well trained elephant, they can get pissed off. They are dogs. They do not have a cognitive ability of a two year old.
