At least they going to use the lions...
I hope they use this script:
so i guess go-bots is next?
Ahh ya fucker you beat me to it.....
Yeah this 80's toy movie shit is getting out of hand now
I was a fan when I was a kid. Had all the lions to make the robot. But I thought they already made this movie a few years back. I think it was called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers which is now played out. THey're gonna try and relight the flame with the original. Seems it would have made more sense to start here. Who knows. It may be alright. THen again it may suck ass.
How about Robotech? Anyone remember that? (I barely do actually)
Robotech, aka Macross, was my SHIT. I loved it as a kid, they'd have an episode on every morning at 7AM while I got ready for school. Damn those were the fuckin days.
Anyway, what they don't mention about the Voltron project is its executive producer Pharrell Williams. I don't think he'd be a part of anything that wasn't going to kick complete ass. We shall see.
I'm anxiously awaiting M.A.S.K., it was that cartoon where everybody wore y'know..... masks.
You got that right. Every time they come up with another 80 toy movie there are a few of us that bring up M.A.S.K. We're hoping. I just don't know if enough people remember it. It was only on for 2 seasons.
I was much older than you probably. I'd get stoned and watch it at 6:00 AM central before going to work for the moving company.
The original flying Delorian. Fuck Marty McFly.
Actually it was a Camaro, not a Delorean....
But it had Delorean doors.
Looking at that picture reminded me of putting the decals on crooked and my dad yelling at me. It was a rough childhood.
The problem with Voltron is that they want to make it more like the Japanese original version and less like the American version that was toned down a lot so that is going to piss some people off.
Eh. I'm holding out for the Bravestarr movie.
http://www.arus.org/content/blogsection/11/54/ wow ! The geekers seem to hate the script
That's actually a good thing in my mind.
