Wasn't Paul Raven (from Ministry) on O&A last summer?

no I'm not. I'm pretty sure Raven even recorded a promo for Adam Ferrara while he was in.

I'm pretty sure Paul came in for one of the Al Jourgensen interviews. In fact, I believe he was with Al the time Bill Burr was in studio. Bill was impressed by the fact that he was in Killing Joke for a bit.

from what I recall, Paul was quite a bit funnier than Jourgensen, too

and yeah, you're right about Bill Burr saying he was a big Killing Joke fan

Raven was there when Al told the story involving zoo animals and a certain keyboardist.

My bad, I guess he was on. In my own defense I tend to fall asleep when Bill Burr is in the studio.

OH JEEZE!
Raven is the one who sued Nirvana for stealing the bass riff from "80's", for their song "Come as You Are" and he/Killing Joke won.
I have been a huge Killing Joke & Ministry fan for a long time and I was
jazzed when he was in studio with Al.

....thanks for the info, that totally sucks

Yeah I was really shocked at hearing this Saturday night and I agree with the guy on IF today saying the boys come off as dumb when they go deep into the music thing. They aren't very credible there in my opinion, as far as going to deeper in the music categories. I could be wrong, but it seems to me they know the basic classics, whatever they grew up with, and whatever popular rock bands make the radio these days, and nothing more. Killing Joke weren't a band who made songs to try to get played on the radio, and they had a huge following.

Not to mention Raven's done tons of projects over the years like Prong and Godflesh. Two more bands who have huge followings despite the boys never hearing of them.

Killing Joke who?

Actually the first example of songs that Op played this morning wasn't that bad. I may have to look into them.

Paul had a great story on the show about one of his crew guys accepting a bet and puting a listerine strip on his eye. They kept joking about that in the day with the porn stars and their toys they brought in. "Can you put it on your eyes?"
