A pimento cheese sandwich and a peach. Doesn't sound like much, but it's one of my favorite lunches.
You make your own pimento or is the store stuff adequate?
I've never bothered to learn how to make it. I couldn't stand it as a kid when I would visit my grandmother in Virginia and it was there. Last year someone brought pimento cheese sandwiches to an event. Because it's on the menu in a lot of restaurants here, I had one to be polite and to make sure I didn't like it.
That shit was fantastic. I found out the person that brought it got it from a grocery store down the road from me. Now there's always a tub of Palmetto Pimento cheese in my fridge.
Another big ass batch of shrimp cocktail. Only way I can stay on my "diet" over the weekend... 1200 calories and it'll last 2-3 days.
Just ate a bowl of saustch gravy at a bob Evans restaurant, I can feel it congealing in my arteries as I type
I never heard of Bob Evans until I went to Ohio a couple of years ago. Definitely nothing to write home about. Certainly no reason for such a small town to have so many locations.
It's on my way to the shore, and I love the disgusting saustach gravy, the sandwich I got wasn't great, honestly everything there kind of reminds me of "hungry man" type dinners, the breakfasts are much better meh it's cheep, and I can watch my truck from any seat in the restaurant, I left the dog in the car.
How'd you make it? Ingredients?
I just estimate amounts, can of this, half of that....
But it has to sit 6-8 hours to really come together.
Local butcher shop had 8 ounce bacon wrapped sirloins on sale for $3 each because they were over a week old and most of their customers are idiots that know nothing of aging beef. Bunch of clown tie wearing horse masked dopes.
Rabbit and cassava (comparable to baked chicken and potatoes)
Did you eat a yard rabbit or one from the pet store?
I dunno. The brown folks made it.
Apart from the DMV, the longest most agonizing wait on earf is a burrito concoction that needs major reduction.
As I've been hitting the weight room hard, I used lean ground turkey instead of ground chuck. I didn't have the ingredaments to make my own salsa, nor any raspberry chipotle sauce, so I used Pace picante and raspberry jam. To be honest, it still tasted pretty damn good.
I even chucked a few ounces into my mega omelette this morning.
I bought a pressure cooker a couple of weeks ago so I've been experimenting with it. It's awesome for brisket and ribs. Cooks them in about a fifth of the time of an oven or slow cooker.
Tonight I'm making a braised apple cider pork shoulder and it'll all be done in under an hour.
I have wanted to buy one for years, I love brisket but hate waiting for it.
So, I bought a “bake your own” Stromboli at Costco, their food is usually very good, I absolutely hated it, to me it tasted like heartburn, I had one slice, my wife “iron gut bob” loved it, it gave me heartburn so bad I eventually threw it up, yea, going to scratch that one off the “lazy dinner” list, I was really bummed.
London broil medium rare, rice, and green and red peppers and onions sauteed in a light hot pepper oil.
Just order one from a local pizza place then , Nancy
Ask them to put some TUMS in it
Lol, I don’t disagree, I’m not a fan of them to begin with, my wife likes that type of food so I bought it for her, as fo the tums, I ate all the ones in my “living room stash” and was too lazy to walk out to my car to get more, by the time I came to the realization that it was an issue, up it came, it used to be a common occurrence (before my nexum addiction I used to throw up almost every day)
Maybe a vegetable boli wouldn't fuck your gut up
I've never tried one
But any place that makes stromboli should have them
And maybe get light or no sauce on it
I always ask them to go light on the sauce
Too much sauce = too sloppy
Meh, I shouldn’t eat that stuff any way, I have a feeling they made it using Costco brand paste and crushed tomatoes, they are very very acidic I bought a case of both once and they made my tummy very unhappy
I just turned a 2 pound bag of rice into rice pudding. The gods will be pleased.

Made a pot of chili two nights ago for a chili cookoff fundraiser that's starting in about an hour. Gotta let the flavors mix for a day or two for maximum yummy-ness. The recipe I used - Oktoberfest Chili - can be found here: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/219020/oktoberfest-chili/
There are 20 entries. Voters cast votes with dollars. Whoever has the most money in their donation jar after two hours wins. I'm gonna win and eat enough chili to have horrendous gas at beddy-bye time.
I fixed it.
That's cuz yer' a nervous nelly and a jumpy fuck.
