I would have to go with Zone Alarm. For a free firewall it is the best thing going. After that I would have to go with GoZilla, great for making the most of bandwidth when downloading. Of course from a career standpoint, Red Hat Linux

Here's one, Tera-term Pro. There is an ssh mod for it out there. For a free program it is a great Unix terminal program that runs on Windows. Used to use it all the time to connect from Winblows boxes to Unix ones.
Its a communcation program. We used it for Unix terminal emulation on Windows. It handles many other terminal types and I believe telnet. If you search for it there are some goods sights that explain it much better. Its easy to find on Google.
