Here's mine.. I have 2 kids, and try to eat healthy at home, but when we are out on the road, and one of them is napping and the other is hungry, there we are at the drive-thru, getting crap.. So I googled healthy drive-thru, and there isn't much out there, sure there are those "healthy" McD's selections, but nothing like turkey burgers, wraps, health-conscious foods, but also kid-friendly stuff too (we started doing the "sneaky chef" where you hide vegetables in foods they like, purees) . so I would love to have that available. Anybody want to do this? Please make us something in Springfield, NJ, I don't have the funds to do this, but I would frequent it often..

Any other ideas out there, that you'd want to do, if you had the time and money?

I actually did a paper on that in college (was a Hotel/Restaurant Mgr. major). There used to be a chain of restaurants called Skinny Haven in California & the West. They started in the 80's during that health craze. They ended up going belly-up and I think the reason was because they tried marketing themselves as a "dieter's" restaurant instead of a "healthy" restaurant (at least that was the argument in my paper).

I think the only way it work in that format is having it associated with an established brand like Weight Watchers.

I've always wanted to open up my own version of a "healthy" alternative fast-food restaurant. Being in the bidness for many years and being a fat fuck and doing all the cooking in my family, I have created/modified many popular foods to make healthier alternative.

If I was ever to do it, I doubt NJ would be a place to start. :action-sm
It's something I think would do better in Vegas or So Cal.

Here's a link to some restaurants that tried to do it:

thanks for posting, oandapartycock Let me know if you ever do a healthy fast foood place, we'll visit, even if it is in SoCal!

I'd love to see more recent articles, but wasn't able to find any. I know applebees does the ww points thing, plus curbside in some places, just looked it up to see how they are doing, looks good, but hard for me to assess the impact of ww from the article below. also can imagine it must be hard to compete with big franchises. I also heard of Baby Greens in Austin TX, they've been in business since 2004. Gives me hope!

big boy toy store, hot rods, customs, but not just cars, anything, you want a custom boat? no problem, custom plane? sure, custom made enclosure for your HiFi? you want wood or metal? want a race pistol? you want it in .45 or .38 super? basically offer the services of other dreamers, with the money but with out the talent to actually do the work or think out the plan. all in a one stop shop. i kind of do that stuff now to a limited extent, but getting paid for it would rock

We've talked about this before, but I'd do the same thing just with electronics and home entertainment stuff.

Basically, I had the idea to wire your entire home theater through a PC, and you could have basically whatever you wanted on your TV/Stereo at any time. You could play PC games or browse the web on a 65" HD, or you could just pull up the stored movies window and double click on what you wanted to see.

I'd open a cloning lab. It'd rock. You just tell me what you want cloned, be it animal or human, and you get it.

I'd like to start on my own as an Electrical/Home theater/comm/automation contractor.

Tho I'd be happy just running boats for a living too. Deliveries, racing, etc.

Buy a moth balled military boat. Something like the small carrier. Make it into a casino with brothel. Anchor off shore. ferry folks in by helo or via boat.

1/2 flight deck is for nude sunbathing,

1/4 hanger deck paint ball, 1/2 full service casino, 1/4 bar with strippers

do some work on the ship as far as rooms. hire about 250 girls and make up large personal rooms with work rooms separate.

OK, maybe too big to start.....

but I think it is workable.

I think it would have to revolve around winter sports so I could have the summer off. That's about as far as I got this time around. :)
