Being single with no current options

OR

Being single with girls you know that you'd love to go out with, but can't for whatever reason (she's not into you, you don't have any way of getting in touch with her, she's already in a relationship, etc etc)

I'm gonna say #2, because the mind-fuck of trying to figure out an angle on someone that's essentially a dead end sucks. :mad4:

Absolutely #2. I don't even really think #1 actually exists.
Exactly, there's an always an option, but it can all too easily fall into the number 2 category.

Just a little personal example of that I guess. Throughout most of high school, I just kind of assumed I was a #1 kind of guy, but then I found out one of my good friend's girlfriend wanted my balls, BAD. Soooo, being the little cunt I was, I basically told her that I wished I had asked her out. Obviously that caused some problems, but afterwards, magically and all of sudden, I just realized that there were a few girls who were into me. #1 is really a perception thing I think.

Absolutely, the options are there, you just have to look hard enough. Similar thing happened to me recently, a girl I work with admitted she was into me, but she had just started seeing someone else, and I was working on another girl, apparently I was just oblivious to the option in front of me.

Hey where's Clinton MI anyway?

#2 is way way worse, i had self image issues in highschool and a kind of self imposed shitty reputation for being "creepy" so my dating in high school was limited (i slid under the wire for loosing my virginity before graduation) after highschool i found out that there were several chicks that wanted to date me, but since school was over there was no way to contact them, oh that an a "girl friend" (girl that was my friend yet i never even really tried to date, but wanted to in the worst way) that i had no real way of getting together with them because most of them went to collage.....
that being said, you never know what is going on in the mind of some chick, just ask them out and see what happens, the first "no options" doesn't exist just a lack of interest on your part, thats part of my "id hit it" comments and state of mind. you never ever know

Option 3: Piggin.

Option 4: ****** joggers in the park

Option 5: hookers

See, no need to close off any possibilities.

And I don't know about you guys but I start feeling like a big loser because it's like, jeebus, can't I ever fall for someone who's available? Matter of fact, I'm going through that crap right now and it really sucks

#2 can be used to create #1.

Be friends with the chicks that aren't into you, and that usually opens the door to other options. If nothing else, you'll have friends.

Both options are preferable to a "ball and chain".

Ahhh cool, never been near it then! I had a brief layover in Detroit before heading to Muskegon for about 4 days back in October.

Definitely 2, been down that road a few times and it sucks. What makes it worse, is the girls that aren't into you, but still get jealous when they see you talking to another girl.

The thing that stings the most is when you're around a girl who you have or have had a thing for and she's either with another guy or excitedly talking about her plans with some guy she's got on her radar screen and all I can do is quietly feel hurt and wonder why the fuck I can't get a chance with her. I'm a good looking dude with a sense of humor and intelligent, so it's like WTF? Am I invisible or something?:arrrh:

I make it a point to never burn bridges and if some girl's not into me, than that's OK, I'm not everyone's cup of tea.

My friend works with a girl that I clumsily tried to get my foot in the door with....I talked to her on the phone a couple times and sent her an intentionally silly e-mail liberally using quotes from 'Anchorman' that made my intentions clear in a non-threatening way. She never responded to it, which made me feel like an ass (cue Alec Baldwin clip) so now when I see her in person, it's a little awkward knowing that she knows that I know that she knows, etc etc:icon_roll

#2.

Just abandon them and stop torturing yourself. Even if they came around, you would wonder if it was only pity and persistence, and wonder if they might change their mind back again one day.

Move on. There are billions of people on this planet, open your eyes.

Girls don't get Anchorman. Trust me on this.
