There are at least 3 threads specifically dealing with the election that ended a week and a half ago. I think you are the one that is the pot head.

I voted for Missed Deadline/Day Off. (Would've voted for Gary Johnson, though.)

Johnson. I thought my generation, the generation that grew up with the internet would be a little more informed and we would see huge numbers for Johnson but apparently the majority of my generation are idiots and it is my last time voting because its pointless. They control the media and the schools. I'm just going to enjoy the ride down to commieville.

They are, that's why they didn't vote for Johnson. Anyone who could tie their shoes knew Johnson was a wasted vote. You can't fight the system, you have to work from within it.

This generation is also saddled by politics that demand hundreds of millions of dollars to have any chance at the Presidency. I'd love a viable third party, but without someone independently wealthy to bankroll the whole thing, they just don't stand a chance. For me, I still need to vote against the guy I think is the most awful choice. As South Park said, it is always the Giant Douche vs. Turd Sandwich.

We need public financing of races and instant runoff voting, then you'd see some changes and a chance at third parties having a shot. Of course the Rs and the Ds will never allow that. A few cities have IRV, but not many.
