Anyone know who is feeding Opie lines(jokes/not coke)? It's easy to tell when he's reading. Are they all coming form instant feedback? Or someone like Steve frOm BS?

Just curious, there have been some good ones, well prior to "Apollo Feed"

I would guess a combination of instant feedback and Sam & Erock

You must be kidding.

Anything he reads is from instant feedback or twitter. He's usually very good about crediting it, even if it's just "some listener writes". I don't think Ant credits all the lines he gets from Paltalk though.

Prolly Instant Feedback, sometimes he gives credit, sometimes not.

It's fine with me as long as something funny is said on the show, as opposed to Howard's show where he has been exposed as not even remotely funny, with and even less funny comedy writer.

Compared to the WNEW days, the use of listener material declined substantially. I remember hearing the crinkling pieces of paper after O&A read an Instant Feedback that Stinky or Ben would hand Op or Ack.

And let's be fair: The Opester is good for a hysterical line every once in a while on his own.

It used to be Than back in the day. I think it might just be feedback now.

Opie does get some stuff from Twitter and IF, but I think a lot of it comes from his evil little mind. Op is a naturally funny dude, I can personally confirm it.

I definitely agree that his mind is little, but I can't decide what's more hilarious: The idea that Opie is naturally funny, or that you think personally confirming it somehow makes it official.

...Aaaand signing off for the weekend.:action-sm

His line a couple days ago about E-Rock "pulling the goalie" by not using protection was really funny to me. Dunno if that's a phrased that's been used before, but it worked.

I would guess he got that saying from Pauly D or the Philly Crew.

It was mildly funny until he said it like 4 more times.

the real question is who do you think Opie is in this thread?
