I found a trojan horse on my system last week and ran my Symantic overnight and it found and quarantined it. Everything worked fine on Saturday, then this morning I come in, boot up my PC and when I try to open anything I get this pop up.

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32 bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
I can get around it by opening a file directly from Windows Explorer (works for both files on my HDD and those housed on our server), but I cannot open any shortcuts or even directly Start/Programs/FILE.

So...WTF?

Thanks. I'll show it to our IT guy tomorrow when he's in.
