I'm not going to bullshit and pretend I've been a hardcore O&A fan since the days of boston or WNEW, I honestly just started liking the show on xm when the two week trial came up. After that there was a while without O&A, since they've been "included" with the regular XM subscription fee, I've enjoyed listening since.

But every Wednesday I hear about the wow. WOW, WOW, WOW !

But in all honesty--in the cities I've traveled, all the time spent in hours of ass busting traffic between Los Angeles, San Diego, Tuscon, Dallas, and back again through Nevada, I've only seen one WOW sticker on someone else's car.

It was in a Southern California beach town called Encinitas, on the back of a small cab late model datsun pickup truck, plastered all over with stickers blotting out the rearview window.

Are they more prevalent on the east coast, or am I just too blind to see?

It's true.

Just once in my life, I want to be driving along and hear someone honk next to me, getting my blood burning thinking it's some jack ass that's got some sod up his ass, look over and see marvelous breasts.

I'm not picky, either.

Opie And Anthony= EAST COAST,,,not only that here's a better statement == OPIE AND ANTHONY= NORTH EAST- That's where they started, that's where they have listeners, that's where there original fans came from and still are. They are local NY guys who lived and worked in Boston for a while. There show will always be directed towards people over here and they don't even care aymore. Remeber recently when opie said "that's a local reference were not supposed to do that anymore?" LOL it's what they do and do best....Granted a lot of the show is for anybody but stepping back for a minute to think about it and I realize that they do play with us Noreaster people more than you guys with the way they talk what they talk about etc some of the time.......it's early hope that makes some sense::hammer:

oh and one more thing, I lived in the city of Boston before moving to the cape and when O and A were pre-sex for sam I would see not only WoW stickers absolutely everywhere on cars and taxis, street sighns etc, I would also see them on the side of busses, the back of busses and those were the huge advertising billboard size wow banners. I think maybe the city figured out what W.O.W. stands for, also I really am dissapointed because pre-sex for sam they were working for a company that advertized the shit out of there show,,,I do sense a bit of a climate change and I think people are really getting back into the cringe radio thing,,,,,look for wow to explode again soon! If little Jimmy can be on a billboard half naked SO CAN O AND A! (well not naked but you know)---you can also help out by ordering a bunch of W.O.W stickers and giving them to your friends to plaster on there cars (or if you feel compelled plaster them around where they will be seen,,,not condoning anything illegal but it's our job to "spread the Virius"

I'm in the northern suburbs of Chicago and I've only seen 1 and that was on a pick up truck with Mass plates. With little/to no advertising WCKG does I really don't expect to see too many around here(except for mine). And I'm still looking for my first WOW.

norf, i lived in san deezy for a year while i was in radiology school. NO ONE i knew out there had any clue about the bbbboys. i've never been anywhere up east, the only reason i know who O and A are are from theirs days in WNEW and they got syndicated to new orleans when i was stationed there.
i asked a dude at best buy (in sa diego) who was an "xm rep" why O and A weren't on the promtion display w/ snoop, bob edw, and all the other faggots on xm: his response, "who?" :icon_eek:

good luck on getting a wow in cali bro. your best bet is hop down to TJ, plenty of wowing out there. :action-sm

Can't this thread be negated by the "spotted a WOW sticker" thread?

The only thing that would negate this thread would be AZT.

I see a lot in NJ, but I do think a lot of people are reluctant to stick one on a new car. Actually stickers are needed for the "guerilla campaigners", but something else is needed. I tuck mine in the top of the window gaskets on both sides of the back seats. the I've heard of people applying them to magnetic backgrounds and putting them on their car, but it's a pain in the ass and half of today's cars have plastic bumpers or rounded trunks. A cheap and highly visible WOW could be accomplished by printing portable window flags like the millions that were made the week after 9/11. It's more expensive to make and mail but I'm sure the hardcores would actually buy them.
