Anyone else watching? I always enjoy the X-Games. I hear Travis Pastrana is competing both here and in NASCAR in one weekend. Busy busy...

Step Up is the first event.

Missed it last year, but I always enjoy watching some Summer X.

They gotta take that shit on the road again. Loved when they came to Philly in 01/02.

I'll have to end up catching the replays on ESPN3 most likely. I used to watch it every year when I was skydiving.

I still can't get enough of these guys that are still out there in these events, like watching Skateboard Park and seeing Rune Glifberg making a couple runs.

I was watching a bit of the Dew Tour in Ocean City last weekend and saw guys like Bucky Lasek, Andy MacDonald, and Ryan Nyquist (bike) competing. Kinda freaked me out.

Anyone watching Moto X best trick?

I remember back in '02 when the backflip was the big thing. Now we got the corkscrew front flip. One guy just about ate shit trying it.

I like how the double backflip landed perfectly is only worth second place. Someone is gonna die in the xgames in a few years trying to score more points than some other neck tatted guy. Ill be watching.

Pastrana's first double backflip was so memorable. I couldn't believe it.

Pastrana's done. That second attempt of that 720 really did him in. Gotta admire the balls, though.

Yup, the only way to get points now is if you flip the bike. It's a staple now, but that's the way the competition's gone in the last few years. And that's no small feat, that's a heavy fucking machine.

Pastrana said he broke both his Tibia and Fibula. Adios, Pastranathon. We hardly knew ye.

And he still isnt in last place. Go figure.

What is up with the short porch on the back end of this course? These riders have to pull up quick as hell.

You get points for trying something crazy.

    Not sure. Limited space, probably.

It's probably so they can get more people in on that side of the arena. Only a matter of time before one of them faceplants into the pillars.

Nice big air BMX trick. I used to try to skate a lame skate park halfpipe when I was younger and I cannot imagine a 30' quarter pipe after that jump.

I thought it looked more like his ankle. Either way it didnt look good. Mildon just dropped even further and walked away, amazing.
