The adhesive for my Inno came loose from the heat in my car when I left it parked outside on a hot day. Anyone else ever have this problem? I had the same thing happen a while ago to a roady in my old car.

I Use the 3M heavy duty double sided adhesive tape. Its dark grey with red backing film. The stuff is hardcore. Ive had a bracket mounted in my truck for at least 4 years and it's still solid.

Id recommend that too, or the velcro stuff with the sticky back. So if you want to take your xm out its a little easier

How about a window mount? I have the opposite problem as you. Mine was stuck too well to my dashboard. Ive had it in there since 2002 and the plastic mount finally broke. The adhesive of course is still holding strong. It was put on there with a heatgun.

So, I bought a window mount for my unit.
