ok... not really... not yet anyhow.
Our furnace has decided to be a total bitch, and conk out on us... on the weekend... when it's harder to get the gas guys to come out... when my wife and I both work most of the day... when it's dropping below freezing for the first time of the year, giving us potential conditions to burst pipes. Times are not so good at the moment. ugh. It's really nothing to worry about, as I'm sure the heating co. will get it taken care of, and our homebuyers warranty will cover everything. It's just that I would rather not have to worry about it at all, and not have to leave work later to take care of this stuff. I was hoping to enjoy my first snow fall in 4 years. eh... maybe it won't start till late tonight after everything is (hopefully) taken care of.

if your really afraid of pipes bursting just crack a few faucets, all it takes is a drip. you might want to pick up a few cheep ceramic heaters, believe it or not the do work in small rooms, i have chronic heater problems so i feel your pain, mine is working for the time being but it stinks when it lights off, and i hate it more than anything, if my oil guy cant fix it im switching to propane

I only like snow when the roads are packed up so I can go skid around like a lunatic.

Heat works fine.. yay me!
